STEM Wing Construction to Start Soon

The project promises to stand as a tribute to innovation, collaboration, and the enduring legacy of the Fischer brothers.  Executive Director and Principal Pamela McQueen shared, “The Chase and Cole Fischer STEM Wing will honor Chase and Cole in every discovery made, every question asked, and every student inspired.”

Construction will begin in early November. Brian Schleper, President of Pilot Contracting said, “The VMA STEM Wing renovation is all about bringing the space well into the future, providing more space in the labs, better layout for learning and interacting,  and updated technology for the students and faculty.”

The new STEM Wing will feature a Makerspace equipped for engineers, scientists, and artists alike, along with state-of-the-art science labs, modern classrooms, and a Faculty Collaboration Hub. A beautiful new Student Commons opening to the main lobby will create a welcoming space for connection and creativity. The project is expected to be finished in Spring 2026.
