Here, we give thanks. In this season of gratitude, we are reminded of our call to love and appreciate one another. As the Houses prepare for service endeavors, we prepare our hearts to help those in need and to practice the radical hospitality that defines a Benedictine community.
News
A Month of Gratitude: November is a month of gratitude for us as we remember to give thanks, practice hospitality, and love one another. This week, we give thanks for our Benedictine sisters and express our gratitude to Sr. Mary Rabe, a long-time science teacher here at Villa. Many of us taught with Sr. Mary, and she frequently stops in for a visit. Sr. Mary was awarded the Kentucky’s Outstanding Physics Teacher of the Year by the Kentucky Association of Physics Teachers, and she instilled in all of us a true love of science. We appreciate Sr. Mary.
