Registration:  September
Practices: October - February (Evenings at Silverlake)
Meets: November - February at various pools in Kentucky and Ohio
2024-2025 Accomplishments
 
Regional Results
  • Ty Dropic '25 finished 1st in the 100 Butterfly and 6th in the 500 Freestyle.
  • Boys 200 Freestyle Relay finished 6th place.
  • Girls 200 Medley Relay finished 8th place.
  • Noah Vick '25 finished 8th place in the 50 Freestyle.
  • Rebecca Raziano '25 finished 5th place in the 100 Butterfly.
 
State Results
  • Ty Dropic, Rebecca Raziano, Boys 200 and Freestyle Relay, and the Girls 400 Freestyle Relay qualified for State.
  • Girls 400 Freestyle Relay finished 24th in the State.
  • Rebecca Raziano finished 16th in the State in the 100 Butterfly.
  • Ty Dropic finished 17th in State in the 100 Butterfly and 23rd in the 500 Freestyle.
 
Ty Dropic was named a 2024 Scholastic All-American by USA Swimming for his outstanding achievements in the classroom and the pool. It took a 3.5 GPA or higher and a Winter Junior Nationals qualifying cut to earn that recognition. Ty is one of just 31 named in Kentucky.

2023-2024 Accomplishments
 

The team had their highest combined team finish at Regionals with 5th place overall. The boys' team finished 6th and the girls' team finished 8th.

Ty Dropic was named NKAC DII Most Outstanding Swimmer of the Year, 2024 All-Region Team, and 1st Team Winter All-Stars by the Cincinnati Enquirer. 

Rebecca Raziano was also named to the 2nd Team All Star Swimmer by the Cincinnati Enquirer. 

State qualifiers: 

Ty Dropic - 200 individual medley* and 500 freestyle*
McKenna Bien - 100 butterfly*
Boys 200 Medley Relay*
Girls 200 Medley Relay*
Boys 400 Freestyle Relay*
Girls 400 Freestyle Relay*

*denotes records broken. 

Two of the girls' relays broke records that were 47 and 50 years old. The 400-freestyle relay broke a record that has been held since the 1977 team.  And the girls 200-medley relay broke the 1974 record that has held for 50 years! This 1974 team also won the state championship that year.
