Welcome to Villa Madonna Academy High/Junior High!
The four years of high school are the four most important years in the life of a child, and the junior high years are times of great growth and maturity. Our Catholic high school (grades 7-12) is just the place where junior high and high school students are educated in a welcoming atmosphere with an outstanding faculty, a challenging curriculum, and a focus on service.
In a school committed to providing the best possible education to our students, grades 7 and 8 are aligned with the high school. As a result, opportunities abound for Villa junior high students to take high school classes and yet still graduate with their peers.
As enrollment continues to grow, we continue to have a great percentage of our classes with National Merit Students, Governor's Scholars, and AP Scholars. Our ACT average is higher than local, state and national averages, and students continue to earn $200,000+ in scholarship offers per graduate. Graduates earn full-tuition scholarships at their school of choice, are recruited to play on the collegiate level, and secure leadership positions in universities.
Parents and students recognize that nowhere in the area is there a school such as Villa Madonna Academy. Our high school is a 3x National Blue Ribbon School, with the most recent recognition in 2020. We were recently awarded the Cognia School of Distinction Award as a result of our excellent accreditation process and results. Niche.com rated our high school as one of the Top Ten high schools in Greater Cincinnati, the only NKY high school to be so recognized. The Washington Post Jay Matthew's Challenge Index even ranks Villa as one of the Top 300 of America's Most Challenging High Schools. In addition to our excellent Catholic, Benedictine education, Villa students have so many opportunities here to participate in countless activities. Villa students are independent thinkers ready for the world, young men and women who know how to learn with each other and work with each other, who grow in their faith and spirituality.
Accredited by SACS/AdvancED/Cognia since 1925, Villa continues to utilize stakeholder feedback to develop an organic curriculum. Villa offers the AP Capstone Program and more Advanced Placement courses than most schools in the area.
Welcome to a school where the focus is on academics and not simply athletics, where young men and women learn together (just like in the real world), and where students learn in an atmosphere of service. Come see our athletic center where our winning teams practice and view the fine arts facilities that produce some of the best art and drama in the area. Come see students and faculty who pray together everyday, knowing that they are always in the holy presence of God.
Please call if you have any questions. In our Benedictine community where hospitality and the Benedictine values lie at the heart of all we do, it is Here, We Belong.
